Wayne Bells Development and Holdings Ltd offers the complete solution for the development, design and construction of a wide range of projects, from housing schemes to multimillion dollar commercial or shopping centers, and hotel complexes. Through our partnerships; of multi-disciplined group of professionals we are able to manage any project from inception to “roof wetting”. Our disciplines include town planning, architectural design, civil and electrical design and construction, and project management. These projects include crushing, concrete plants, brick making plants, bulk cement handling, environmental engineering, storm water drainage, hydrology and flood control, foundation engineering and ground improvement, housing, commercial, agricultural and industrial developments, road construction, pipelines, water sewer and electrical reticulation, water reservoirs and towers, sewage treatment works and water purification plants.
The success of any project is dependent on the efficient management of all aspects of the project from conception to the completion of construction. Our vastly experienced project managers control and marry all these aspects with the needs and concerns of our clients. Quality control, health and safety issues, programming, cash flows, site costing and procurement of materials are all carefully monitored.
Our partnerships have been able to bring together civil engineers who use the latest computer aids, including CAD, for the design of roads and infrastructural services. Comprehensive geotechnical surveys are conducted to assist with the design of foundations for the structures and for the layer work design of the road system. We measure our success against global standards of excellence to guarantee satisfaction to our clients and their projects.
Geotechnical surveys indicate the nature and collapse potential for in-situ materials. This allows for a range of cost effective ground improvement solutions, including impact compaction to be investigated. The design of structural foundations can then be adjusted accordingly, and with confidence.
An aerial survey of the site is a useful tool, necessary for the production of a scaled contour drawing of the proposed site. This is essential for the development of a town plan. Once this is agreed with the client and the relevant local authority our teams establish the property boundary pegs on site. The contour drawings are then used for the detailed road and sewer reticulation layout. They also assist with the placing of sewage disposal works (if required) and, in conjunction with a hydrological survey, for the establishment of 50 or 100 year flood lines.
